This is an important message for the parents of students who attended the field trip today to Walnut Grove: Due to extremely heavy traffic, the students on the field trip will not make it back to school before dismissal. Students will return to the school by 3:30 pm. If possible, please have someone to pick up your child at the front of the school at 3:30. Due to the short notice, if you cannot make it to pick your student up, they will be taken home by the bus. If your child is part of Be Great Academy, they will go there like normal.
All students not picked up by 3:30 will be taken home on the bus. Thank you for your patience as we get everyone home safely!
This is a great opportunity for Story Time at Newberry College!
With the prediction of bad weather on Halloween, Newberry County Memorial Hospital is cancelling their Safe Kids Halloween Event scheduled on October 31. In an abundance of caution, they feel this is best. We hope everyone will stay safe.

Unfortunately our fall book fair that was scheduled for next week is being postponed until the week of November 18. The company we use for the book fair has distribution centers in Florida and Texas, which were affected by the hurricanes this year, which caused some unforeseen scheduling issues. We can’t wait to share what Mrs. Hunter and Mr. Dukes have planned if we sell over 1,000 books...hint: it involves water! Stay tuned for more!

All fundraising orders are due on Wednesday, September 11.
Students in Mrs. Summer and Mrs. Hamm's Upper Montessori Class spread kindness by putting up kindness posters all around the school. Great job to our Gators!

Mrs. Hunter and Mr. Dukes were excited to accept an award on behalf of all of our Gallman Gators for being Relay for Life’s Top School in the School District of Newberry last school year!
