Principal Appreciation Day was Saturday. We are so thankful to have Mrs. Westwood as our principal. She is caring, hardworking, and puts so much energy into keeping us motivated. Many of us ask, "Do you think she drinks lots of coffee or just energy drinks?!?" But, we really know it's just because she is passionate about her job! No matter how tired or busy she is, she is there for us and encourages us. Thank you Mrs. Westwood!

MCMS PARENT OPINION SURVEY: Complete by May 28, 2021.
The survey is available online here: https://ed.sc.gov/surveys/parent-survey/
Previously, the Parent Opinion Surveys were in paper format but they are now online. Since the survey is now online, families of all students in grades K-12 can complete one survey for each of their children attending public school. There is no need to limit which parents take the survey. For families without Internet, MCMS will provide access to a computer to allow those families to take the survey.
The Parent Opinion Survey is required under Section 59-18-900 of the Education Accountability Act and the Education Oversight Committee uses results from the survey in their reporting for Section 59-28-190 of the Parental Involvement in Their Children’s Education Act. Please contact the school if you have any questions.
